• New, novel anticonvulsant for idiopathic epilepsy in dogs. Not currently (March 2014) available in USA.

• Appears to be efficacious in some dogs and well tolerated, but little currently is published on clinical efficacy or long-term safety. Tolerance development and drug interaction potential do not appear to be major concerns.
